2018 CTE Plan ADDENDUM ReleasedIn August 2017, the Alaska Workforce Investment Board convened a workgroup to review the 2010 Alaska Career and Technical Education Plan and draft an addendum to accompany the original Plan . The goals are to reenergize the conversation around CTE and use the addendum and plan as an advocacy tool to help ensure that CTE opportunities are available and communicated to Alaskans. POSTSECONDARY AND WORKFORCE CONNECTIONSCTE makes vital connections to postsecondary training and workforce development. CTE will help Alaska reach its goal of "65 by 2025": 65% of Alaskans will have a postsecondary credential by the year 2025.
Included are CTE program credentials such as Registered Apprenticeship Certificates, Industry Certifications, and other workforce credentials. |
